Moving On Tyne & Wear

North Tyneside project

Equipped with expert knowledge of health and wellbeing services, Moving On Tyne & Wear’s local Navigators know how to help people with physical and mental health barriers find jobs in North Tyneside.

  • Is your physical or mental health keeping you out of work?
  • Are you a resident of North Tyneside (or anywhere else in Tyne and Wear)?
  • Are you aged 18 or over?
  • Do you have the right to work in the UK?

If so, Moving On Tyne & Wear could be for you. Our North Tyneside team is committed to helping you to overcome the barriers that have prevented you from finding work or getting training before. We will work one-to-one to make sure you get the support you need as quickly as possible.

How we will work together

Once accepted into the programme, you will be assigned a Navigator who will provide you with one-to-one support and work with you to create an individual action plan based on your identified goals.

Your Navigator will strive to help you achieve your goals, keeping you at the centre of everything you do together. They can link you into specialist support services to build on your existing skills and help you to move on.

Please note that any benefits you are currently receiving will not be affected by engaging with our programme.
