Moving On Tyne & Wear (MOTW) has appointed a new Programme Manager.
Lisa Leonard, who was previously MOTW’s Quality & Performance Manager, has been formally appointed to the role of MOTW Programme Manager.
Before joining Moving On Tyne & Wear in 2020, Lisa’s background was in adult education, working in apprenticeships and employability for 20 years. Lisa is passionate about supporting people with mental ill-health, autism, and neurodiversity and reducing the stigma associated with these conditions.
I believe that people with neurodiverse disabilities have so much to offer and, with the right support, will be an asset to any organisation.
Lisa recognises the importance of empowering people to take control of their mental health and removing the barriers to employment. She knows everyone has something to offer an employer. She hopes to continue to drive this message through Moving On Tyne & Wear and successfully lead the project in the final year of delivery.
