Film Screening for People with Autism: The Polar Express

16th December 2018 @ 6:00 pm

At Gosforth Civic Theatre all of our film screenings are inclusive, however, this Christmas we wanted to offer a film exclusively to people with autism and their friends and families because we know how difficult it can be to access events at this busy time of year. And after putting it to a vote on local autism groups online, the chosen film is The Polar Express!

On Christmas Eve, a young boy embarks on a magical adventure to the North Pole on the Polar Express, while learning about friendship, bravery, and the spirit of Christmas. Starring Tom Hanks and directed by Robert Zemekis.

There are two ages-specific showings:

3pm is for 0-12 year olds and their families

6pm is for teens and adults.

Tickets cost £5 ( free admission to one carer per ticket)
